Julia and Austin’s backyard wedding was thoughtful, personal, and completely unique to their love story.
A Meaningful Micro Wedding for a Maryland Couple
Julia and Austin (she/her, he/him) held their wedding on a beautiful Saturday in mid May with their closest family and friends.
Choosing where to get married came easily to them, as Julia had known since she was a little girl that she wanted to get married in the backyard of her family’s home. Their wedding day was such a full circle moment as she looked back on the times of telling her grandmother that she would get married here, & now she knew exactly who it was that would be waiting for her at the end of the aisle. 🥹
Julia spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids, mother, and grandmother in her grandmother’s bedroom where they shared laughs, sentiments of the memories made in this home, hugs, and of course, some jello shots!
While Julia spent time getting ready, family and friends were outside working to put together the lovely ceremony and reception details. Each detail having love and thought put behind it by the people that care about them most.

The May weather in Maryland can be unpredictable, but Julia & Austin lucked out with the best weather there could be! Sunny skies with a slight breeze coming off the water, absolutely beautiful!
